The energy service provider EWE is driving forward the conversion of its gas storage site in Wesermarsch for the storage of hydrogen. NEUMAN & ESSER will supply EWE with two four-crank, horizontal piston compressors size 320 as part of the major four-part “Clean Hydrogen Coastline” project.
On November 13, 2024, Managing Partners Stefanie and Alexander Peters signed the contract to take over EVB Technik GmbH on January 1. The company, located in Velbert and Garbsen, was founded in 2006 and is specialized in integrated EI&C (electrical, measurement and control technology) and automation solutions that meet special technical requirements.

For this integrated approach, the local companies NEUMAN & ESSER from Übach-Palenberg, BMR Energy from Geilenkirchen, Frauenrath, Veolia from Heinsberg and WEP from Hückelhoven have joined forces to build a 2 MW electrolyzer including a hydrogen refuelling station.
