NEA Cooperation Model

The NEA Cooperation Model with municipal utilities (formerly “Biogaspool”) pools raw biogas volumes from multiple biogas plants across a region and transports them via a shared collection pipeline to a central location. There, a shared biogas processing plant is constructed, with the investment costs shared by several municipal utilities—in proportion to their individual biomethane requirements.
NEUMAN & ESSER Energy Project Solutions handles planning, construction, permitting, commissioning, technical and commercial operation, as well as service and certification services. The biogas plants supply raw biogas, and the municipal utilities receive the produced biomethane—reliably, economically, and with long-term predictability.
